Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Engineer to support, maintain, and enhance our organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of hardware, software, and network systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing solutions to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. System Administration:

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and workstations.

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across systems.

2. Technical Support:

• Provide Level 1, 2, and 3 support for technical issues.

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems.

• Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, including provisioning equipment.

3. Network Management:

• Monitor and maintain network systems, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, and VPNs.

• Perform network troubleshooting to ensure minimal downtime.

• Optimize network performance and security.

4. System Upgrades and Maintenance:

• Plan and execute upgrades for software, hardware, and IT systems.

• Ensure systems are compliant with company policies and regulatory standards.

5. Cybersecurity:

• Implement and monitor security measures to protect data and IT infrastructure.

• Perform regular audits and vulnerability assessments.

• Ensure antivirus, backups, and disaster recovery systems are operational.

6. Project Management:

• Participate in or lead IT projects, including system migrations, deployments, and integrations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.

7. Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of IT systems, configurations, and support tickets.

• Create user manuals and training materials for employees.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• years of experience in IT support, engineering, or administration.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and macOS.

• Experience with virtualization tools (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).

• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

• Proficiency in scripting or automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell).

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
