Supervise Workshop Operations: Oversee daily workshop activities, ensuring timely completion of tasks with high-quality standards in welding, sheet metal fabrication, and tank manufacturing.
Interpret Technical Drawings: Review and interpret engineering blueprints and technical designs for accurate fabrication and assembly.
Fabrication Expertise: Manage the production of steel structures, sheet metal, and tanks while ensuring adherence to technical specifications.
Quality Assurance: Inspect fabricated products and processes to meet quality standards and project requirements.
Team Leadership: Allocate tasks, guide technicians and welders, and monitor their performance to achieve project goals efficiently.
Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and ensure all activities comply with workplace safety standards.
Maintenance and Reporting: Maintain workshop equipment, manage inventory, and generate reports on project progress and resource utilization.
QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.Experience:3–5 years of experience in workshop operations, preferably in construction or steel fabrication.Hands-on experience in welding, sheet metal fabrication.Technical Skills:Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.Solid knowledge of welding processes and steel fabrication techniques.Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software is a plus.
