Senior Civil Procurement Engineer

As a Senior Civil Procurement Engineer, you will play a critical role in sourcing and managing materials and services for our civil engineering projects. Your role ensures the timely delivery of high-quality resources, cost optimization, and alignment with project timelines and standards.


Your responsibilities will encompass the following key areas:


Procurement Management:

  • Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and services for civil engineering projects.
  • Analyze project requirements and ensure timely procurement in compliance with budgets and quality standards.


Supplier Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts to secure the best terms and ensure supplier compliance with company policies.


Cost Optimization:

  • Implement cost-effective purchasing strategies while maintaining quality and performance standards.
  • Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings.


Documentation & Reporting:

  • Prepare and maintain procurement documents, including RFQs, purchase orders, and contracts.
  • Provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders on procurement progress.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to align procurement activities with project schedules.
  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure timely payments and budgeting.


To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, with a cumulative grade of at least Good.
  • 5–10 years of experience in procurement within the civil engineering or construction sector.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and negotiation.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
