Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Assistant Accountant at the American Academy. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for tasks such as financial data entry, preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, assisting with budget preparation, and supporting the accounting team with day-to-day operations.




Qualifications

Financial data entry, financial reporting, and account reconciliation skills
Knowledge of budget preparation and basic accounting principles
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently and remotely
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience in accounting or finance is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
