Overall Job Purpose: The Paint Shop Quality Control Section Head Should ensure safe high quality products with high customer satisfaction. Should Ensure that the Painted Body processes are carried out as per (OEM) Original Equipment Manufacture specifications.  Ensure continuous improvement of people, products, and process. Measure processes output performance against targets. 

Key Result Areas:

• Ensure Products and Processes output as per specs and standards.
• Establish and implement needed work methods, and instructions for Paint Shop QC function.
• Define and technically select all needed QC measuring tools and equipment for his area.
• Statistical data analysis to compare results against targets to take required actions with Quality Manager.
• Conduct root cause analysis for repeated defects and problematic materials and processes.
• Investigate odd technical issues and set the proper counter measures.
• Lead and participate in improvements initiatives related to Paint processes.
• Issuing technical reports for local supply quality issues
• Organize the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress.
• Conduct training for inspectors on quality control concepts and tools.
• Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure Quality Control targets are met or exceeded.
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement teams.
• Ensure Updating of QC work instructions, methods, and checklist according to the latest improvements and changes.
• Ensure, and monitor the implementations of corrective and preventive actions feedbacks.
