The Civil Technical Office Engineer - BIM is responsible for managing and coordinating technical design tasks, focusing on Building Information Modeling (BIM) implementation. The role ensures that civil design works align with project specifications, standards, and schedules, while maintaining clear communication across teams to optimize project efficiency.

BIM Implementation & Coordination:
- Develop and manage BIM models throughout the design and construction phases.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure that BIM standards are maintained.
- Generate and review 3D models to support construction sequences and coordination efforts.
- Conduct clash detection and resolve coordination issues between architectural, structural, and MEP models.
Technical Documentation & Drawings:
- Prepare detailed technical drawings, designs, and shop drawings using BIM and AutoCAD/Revit software.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and local regulations.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings and documentation for completed projects.
- Maintain and update project documentation, including RFI (Request for Information) responses and technical submittals.
Civil Engineering Design & Analysis:
- Provide technical support for civil engineering aspects of the project, including structural analysis, grading, drainage, and material specifications.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure structural integrity and compliance with specifications.
- Perform calculations for structural load, reinforcement, and material strength.
Project Planning & Reporting:
- Assist in project planning and scheduling by providing technical insights and recommendations.
- Track project progress and prepare regular technical reports for management and stakeholders.
- Review project budgets and provide input on cost control strategies related to civil engineering works.
Quality Control & Assurance:
- Conduct site visits to ensure work complies with approved designs and specifications.
- Coordinate with construction teams to address any technical issues that arise on-site.
- Ensure that all civil engineering work meets the required safety standards.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Coordinate between technical office, site engineers, and project managers for smooth workflow.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide technical advice and solutions to resolve project challenges.
