About the Role:

As a Senior Data Analyst in the Product team, you will be responsible for creating and managing product analytics and KPI dashboards, defining and tracking product metrics, evaluating A/B testing experiments, and providing data-driven insights to guide product strategy and development.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive product analytics and KPI dashboards.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to define, implement, and track feature-specific metrics.
  • Manage and optimize our data visualization tools and processes.
  • Standardize metrics definitions across the product team to ensure consistency.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on metrics and KPIs.
  • Design and develop data models using Snowflake.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for product improvements and strategy.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses to uncover insights and opportunities within our product suite.
  • Create and deliver presentations on product performance and user behavior to stakeholders.
  • Analyze results of A/B tests and provide clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices in product analytics, A/B testing, and data visualization.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a data analysis role, preferably in a product-focused environment.
  • Strong proficiency and experience in SQL including the ability to extract, clean and manipulate data.
  • Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
  • Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Metabase, Looker, or Sigma).
  • Experience in defining and tracking product metrics and KPIs.
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques and their applications in product analytics
  • Familiarity with big data technologies
  • Experience with cloud platforms, (eg. AWS)
