Job Purpose

Manage internal audit function and tasks, utilizing audit staff wither internal or external. Make recommendations that add value ensuring maximum payback to the entity or process under review

Report To Position Name

1- Assisting the H/Internal audit in preparing the annual audit plan.2- Helping the H/Internal audit in establishing the Internal Audit Department, designing related audit charter and audit procedure manual.3- Monitoring and auditing the company’s compliance with established internal controls.4- Reporting line to H/Internal audit, which directly reports to Audit Committee (B.O.D)5- Monitor the internal audit team performance and ensure the team members are meeting their KPI’s effectively.6- Developing and maintaining productive client and staff relationships7- Teaching, training and coaching staff.8- Developing procedures, schedules, priorities and programs for achieving audit objectives and goals9- Using project management tools to oversee project progress.10- Identifying and communicating to department personnel changes in professional standards, pronouncements, laws, guidelines and audit requirements.11- Assessing risk factors to identify high risk areas within Etisalat.Attending and conducting internal meetings and participating in the recruitment and hiring of internal auditors.13- Planning, organizing and carrying out the internal audit tasks including participation in preparing an audit plan which fulfils the responsibility of the department, scheduling and assigning work and estimating resource needs, and allocating staff to the assigned tasks.14- Performing an annual risk assessment of the business.15- Coordinating with external auditors, when necessary16- Communicating and interacting with management across all divisions.17- Ensuring compliance with all applicable internal and external regulations. 18- Manage and develop a highly skilled and motivated risk team to meet the growing needs of the business. 19- Gives constructive feedback to team members under his direct supervision to ensure continuance technical development.
