- Participate in creating HSE rules, procedure, technical instructions and policies.
- Preparation of health, safety, and environmental documentation and safety plans for new projects.
- Maintain and update company HSE manual and standards.
- Apply techniques and inspections to prevent causes which lead to accidents or even injuries at work.
- Prepare Job Risk Analysis (or Job Hazard Analysis (JHA)) for different activities and assist the risks and hazards evaluation continually.
- Comply with the up to date with governmental regulations, laws for safety and environmental and OSHA standards.
- Conduct safety audits both at office and at job sites.
- Investigate and analyze in all occurred accidents and incidents to identify the root causes, the trends and suggesting improvement actions.
- Prepare safety reports and analyze safety statics.
- Provide in-house safety and environmental training and awareness.
- Maintain positive and proactive relations with managers and employees, as well as our customers and regulatory agencies.
- Participate with other departments in evaluating the suppliers, subcontractors and services providers.
- Eliminate any pollution or hazard sources.
- Arrange with external HSE auditors and take their note to response them or take actions accordingly.
- Ensure the availability of all safety and environmental tools and equipment all the time and make sure that all safety tools and equipment are in workable condition.
- Participate in preparing and implementing contingency and evacuation plans according to the job requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Science or equivalent from a reputed University.OSHA training courses is a plus.Minimum 4-7 years of experience in a HSE related field.Computer Skills:Soft Skills:Very good computer skills & MS Office package.Very good communication skills.Very good command of English.Business and technical writing Skills.Ability to work among teams.Work under pressure.
