Job description

• Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to schedule.
• Monitor production processes and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production activities.
• Jigs and Fixtures Manufacturing design process
• Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate waste in production processes.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop quality improvement plans.
• Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes in demand or unforeseen production issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of production workers, supervisors and technicians.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
• Prepare and present reports on production performance and improvement initiatives.
• Utilize data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt) is a plus.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role.
• Proven experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency in Jigs and Fixtures Manufacturing design.
• Experience with production planning software and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting.
