Avoid Mistakes & Resolve Issues
Supervise Contracted Staff, Monitor project progress, compliance and safety standards
Prepare Reports, Compile and present reports on projects
Inspect facilities and analyze operational data, provide information for technical office and planning
Compile estimates for technical and material requirements for project development
Suggest process and technical design changes to improve performance and efficiency
Implement improvements to designs and processes
Test material and structure integrity
Research the environmental impact of projects
Incorporate eco-friendly and sustainable features into design plans
Create graphical representations of proposed solutions

Job Responsibilities

Overseeing all project stages from preliminary layouts to final engineering designs
Surveying new construction sites and assessing existing structures for upgrades
Maintaining and interpreting site drawings, topographical drawings, construction drawings, rebar drawing and rebar schedules
Setting out from the contract drawings/information, carry out surveys as and when required
Create work schedules and adjust as needed to meet deadlines

Scope

observing health and safety standards, and compiling reports for different stakeholders
Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory requirements
Maintain project documentation of site engineering activities
Direct engineering activities, assign tasks, provide training and support

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering, construction, building or related field
Knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction and design
Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software
Record of managing personnel and material resources
Critical thinking, analytical and complex problem solving
At least 10+ years of experience in construction field
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
Dedicated to learning new concepts and strategies
