Job Purpose
Handle physically ADSL/Enterprise customer’s problems inside/outside TE central office plus handle basic physical network tasks.
Report To Position Name
ADSL Installation and Maintenance\:
Attend in the required Location decided by Field Service foreman on time (TE central office, TE Cabinet, TE box……etc.).
Contact Field Service foreman to get the assigned tasks (ADSL installations) with all needed data (central office, slot/port, TE work order…etc.).
Install new ADSL lines inside central office by the pre-assigned slot and port and deliver the printed TE work order to central office.
Update Field Service foreman by any modification during ADSL installations in customer slot and port (inside central office).
Update Field Service foreman by any obstacle during installation/Maintenance in order to get confirmation to do the tasks (TE central office access problem, TE work order not ready on TE system, TE maintenance inside central office ….etc.).
Fill in the form as per MISP’s policies and procedures for travel petty cash needed for the availability in different locations within the country, and ensure the proper settlement of the travel allowance.
Periodical follow up with Field Service foreman on the objectives assigned to ensure high performance level.
Fix ADSL lines by check physically inside central office on Etisalat devices then check on cables from Etisalat devices till last terminal inside central office.
Contact Field Service Engineer to get the assigned tasks (ADSL Maintenance) with all needed data (central office, slot/port, TE work order, problem type…etc.).
Update Field Service Engineer by the checking results during ADSL Maintenance tasks.
Enterprise Maintenance\:
Attend in the required Location decided by Field Service foreman on time (TE central office, TE Cabinet, TE box……etc.).
Contact Field Service foreman to get the assigned tasks (Enterprise Maintenance) with all needed data (central office, slot/port, TE work order, and Physical line data “Terminal, Cabinet Code and TE Box …etc.).
Update Field Service foreman for any TE central office access problem during Maintenance in order to get confirmation to do the task.
Fill in the form as per MISP’s policies and procedures for travel petty cash needed for the availability in different locations within the country, and ensure the proper settlement of the travel allowance.
Periodical follow up with Field Service foreman on the objectives assigned to ensure high performance level.
Fix Enterprise lines by check physically inside central office on Etisalat devices to Last point at customer side passing though TE Cabinet, TE Box.
Update Field Service Sr. Engineer by the checking results during Enterprise Maintenance tasks.
Insure & update final data for all pops (customer slot/Port, Physical line data “Terminal, Cabinet Code and TE Box) to be updated in customer database.
Network Tasks\:
In charge for any alert inside MISP network sites and update field service foreman in order to align with tasks owner the required action.
Fix basic network failures like reset circuit breaker, reset ADSL card (according to field service engineering team request)
Ready 24/7 for any incident/alarm happened in MISP network
