- Analyze purchasing trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions that minimize costs while maximizing value.
- Work with the Quality Control and R&D departments to ensure all raw materials and products meet the company’s standards for quality and performance.
- Handle any discrepancies in deliveries or quality issues with suppliers.
- Ensure that all procurement activities comply with company policies, legal regulations, and environmental standards.
- Provide regular reports on purchasing activities, costs, supplier performance, and stock levels to upper management.
- Coordinate with the sales, production, and finance departments to align procurement with broader company goals.
- Monitor global and local market trends in raw materials and adjust purchasing plans accordingly.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.5-7 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the chemical or paints industry.Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills.Familiarity with procurement software and inventory management systems.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.In-depth knowledge of raw & packaging materials purchasing process.
