As a Maintenance Engineer at Mansoura Glass, you will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery and equipment in our glassware factory are operating efficiently and safely. Your role will involve routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to minimize downtime and maintain smooth production processes. You will also supervise production supervisors and workers, ensuring smooth workflow across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
● Equipment Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all factory equipment to ensure it operates at peak efficiency.
● Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues quickly and accurately, implementing effective solutions to minimize production interruptions.
● Repairs: Carry out necessary repairs on machinery and equipment, ensuring that all work is completed safely and in line with company standards.
● Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and suggest modifications or upgrades to enhance productivity.
● Compliance: Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety and environmental regulations.
● Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and modifications.
● Team Collaboration: work closely with the production team to coordinate maintenance activities and support their needs for optimal equipment performance.
● Supervision: Oversee supervisors and workers in production and the mould workshop to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
● Leadership: Demonstrate strong leadership skills and manage workers effectively, maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
● Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. ● Experience: - 2-5 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. - Familiarity with glass manufacturing equipment is a plus. ● Skills: - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery. - Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems. - Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to preventing equipment breakdowns. - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. - Proficient in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office. - Strong personality with the ability to manage and interact effectively with workers and supervisors.
