- Review and evaluate the efficiency of the kiln operation by identifying areas of improvement, e.g. operations and manpower planning, product quality, and contribute in the development and implement of the new operation methodology, standards, practices and procedures to contribute to the cost minimization and profit maximization of the kiln operation \
- Follow-up the identification of areas for improvement in the kiln operation, select and propose which adjustments and modifications are necessary in the kiln operations to optimise its performance and improve the quality of the products
- Follow-up the accurate implementation of kiln operation adjustments to ensure that all plans are executed accurately and according to schedule
- Liaise with the maintenance planning personnel in the preparation of preventive and predictive maintenance schedule by including all major shutdowns and implement such activities to minimize overall effect on production.
- Work on Reduction in Sp. heat consumption and the idle running of equipment to reduce Sp. power consumption.to maintain maximum level of reliability and the minimum level of production costs.
- Prepare all aspects of the kiln process on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and ensure the system of internal audit throughout AFR feeding and utilization in kiln to achieve the best quality with the minimum cost in appropriate timeframe.
- Direct requisitions for maintenance and repair of production equipment, and for machine parts and manufacturing supplies to recommend improvements in machinery and equipment and in manufacturing methods
- Support the planning and execution of the main revisions (SD) to maintain plant operational efficieny.
- Schedule and organizes the provision of production supplies, e.g. refractory, grinding media, grinding aids and raw material to support the effective and continuous operation of the production
- Arrange and cooperate with Maintenace team for preventive maintenance plan in SAP-PM to support productivity improvement interims quantity and quality.
- Monitor inspection with mechanical team after PM and SD activities to ensure smooth production operation of the plant and the fine tuning of the equipment.
- Participate or lead ad-hoc projects that may go beyond formal accountabilities to satisfy and respond accordingly to business needs
- Proactively manage Health & Safety process and procedures to achieve the company ambition of ‘0 Lost Time Injuries’ and to continuously improve the company's Health & Safety performance
- Ensure compliance requirements are met through organizational and procedural measures including implementation of Group guidelines, performing trainings, monitoring compliance etc.
Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in technical engineering or any equivalentMinimum 5-8 years of experience in the same field – cement industry is a must Technical: Excellent technical knowledge of the kiln mills operation processExposure on kiln mill maintenance activitiesVery good knowledge of safety laws and regulations, as well as environment legislationVery good knowledge of cement products and cement production processes technology.Knowledge of safety laws and regulationProficient in MS Office, Google software
