Key Responsibilities



Supervise staff and provide ongoing training and feedback.



Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.



Oversee both hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal.



Ensure proper maintenance and storage of hazardous materials.



Perform regular inspections to identify potential environmental risks.



Collaborate with other departments to manage environmental impact.



Create and manage department budgets.



Oversee incoming environmental claims and assist in the resolution process.



Stay up to date on industry trends and regulations.



Oversee daily operations and ensure the division meets its performance and operational targets.



Enhancing effectiveness and efficiency through the implementation of appropriate systems and processes.



Maintaining compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards.



Leading, coaching, and developing a team to foster a high-performance organizational culture.



Liaising with senior management to decide operational activities and set strategic goals.



Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of the business to ensure smooth progress.



Ensuring the division's compliance with company policies and legal guidelines.



Directing and organizing initiatives that reinforce the division’s strategic objectives.

Skills

Qualifications:



Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, or related field.



At least 12-15 years of experience in environmental services, with three (3) years in a managerial capacity.



Oil & Gas industry background is a must.



Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.



Strong knowledge of environmental regulations.



Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.



Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and environmental management software.



Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
