- Industrial Deputy Division Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and ensure that all Turnarounds/Major Shutdowns activities and work orders are implemented effectively and in compliance with the client’s quality, health, environment, and safety practices and procedures.
- Track the execution of Turnarounds/Major Shutdowns against the plan, recommend changes if needed, and communicate the same with the concerned personnel.
- Ensure that all work problems, issues, and disputes that might arise during the execution of Turnarounds/Major Shutdowns are effectively solved in coordination with all concerned parties.
- Participate in developing the critical path, activity logic, estimated budget, and expected outcomes for turnarounds/major shutdowns.
- Assist in managing and coordinating Turnaround tendering and contracting activities, such as attending pre-tender meetings, answering questions, and evaluating and awarding tenders.
- Prepare Turnaround annual budgets, cost projections, and budget proposals and report them to the Industrial Division Manager for review and approval.
- Oversee daily operations and ensure the division meets its performance and operational targets.
- Ensure that Turnarounds/Major Shutdowns processes and procedures are correctly followed and continuously improved.
- Coordinate with all concerned Divisions to ensure all required resources are available and ready to execute the work.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Industrial Division Manager.
- Enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of the team.
Skills
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent.
- 12-15 years of experience in Refinery Turnaround operations, with at least Four (4) years in a similar position.
- Oil & Gas maintenance background is a must.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and cost management.
- Relevant certifications, such as industry-specific or general management credentials, such as Certified Manager (CM) or Project Management Professional (PMP).
