Role & Responsibilities
- Develop initial design concepts that meet client specifications and project requirements
- Collaborate with architects, designers and building contractors on design and construction of projects
- Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications, design analysis and construction cost estimates
- Perform occasional specialized structural inspection assessments
Requirements & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a Reputable UniversityAverage 5 to 12 years of relevant experience in Structural DesignProficient with using computer-aided design software.Proficient Technical Writing skillsExperienced in BIM softwarePrevious experience in both concrete and steel structures is preferablePrevious experience with International design codes is preferable
