- Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements
- Estimate costs and prepare budgets
- Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
- Monitor production to resolve issues
- Supervise and evaluate performance of production personnel (quality inspectors, workers etc.)
- Determine amount of necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.)
- Approve maintenance work, purchasing of equipment etc.
- Ensure output meets quality standards
- Enforce health and safety precautions
- Report to upper management
Experience as a production manager in Edible oil and a vegetable oil extraction and refining plant is mandatoryDeep knowledge of production management Especially in the field of extracting and refining vegetable oilsUnderstanding of quality standards and health & safety regulationsKnowledge of performance evaluation and budgeting conceptsExperience in reporting on key production metricsProficient in MS Office and ERP softwareOutstanding communication abilityExcellent organizational and leadership skillsAttention to detailStrong decision-making skills and a results-driven approachBSc/Ba in Business Administration or relevant field is preferred
