The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing and coordinating accounting activities to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with accounting standards. This role involves overseeing financial statement preparation, financial analysis, and managing daily accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Statement Preparation:
   • Prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
   • Ensure the accuracy of financial data by reviewing accounting records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
2. Oversee Accounting Operations:
   • Monitor daily operations such as invoice processing, payment handling, and accounts payable/receivable management.
   • Coordinate monthly and year-end closing processes and perform bank reconciliations.
3. Financial Analysis:
   • Conduct regular financial analysis to provide insights into the company’s financial performance.
   • Prepare financial reports and analyze variances between budgets and actual costs, providing recommendations to management.
4. Compliance Management:
   • Ensure all accounting activities adhere to local and international accounting standards.
   • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate annual audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
5. Budgeting and Planning Support:
   • Participate in the preparation of company budgets and financial forecasts.
   • Provide financial support and recommendations to management regarding expansion or cost-saving strategies.
