1. Develop server-side code in PHP
2. Design and implement databases to store and retrieve data efficiently
3. Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration with the frontend user
interface
4. Provide guidance, mentorship and support to more junior PHP Backend Developers, advise
trainings and courses to take to improve their knowledge and skills
5. Ensure security and scalability of the application as user base grows
6. Test and debug backend code to ensure it works as expected
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and recommend new technologies and best practices
1. Proven experience (at least 1 year) in PHP web application development, with a focus onbackend development2. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience (alternative, atleast 2 years of experience in PHP web application development, with a focus on backenddevelopment)3. Strong proficiency in modern PHP frameworks, especially in Laravel4. Hands-on experience with databases such as MySQL or MongoDB5. Knowledge of architecture patterns and concepts such as MVP, singleton, caching strategies etc. 6. Experience in working with RESTful APIs and JSON7. Experience in using version control systems, especially Git8. Familiarity with cloud computing services, especially AWS9. Very good command of English (both spoken and written)10. Strong communication and collaboration skills11. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail12. Experience working in an Agile development environment13. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly
