Foreign Procurement & Logistics Specialist - Security Systems

Foreign Procurement:

 

  • Identify and evaluate potential international suppliers for light current systems, components, and related services.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to secure the best value for the company.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions for foreign purchases.

Logistics Management:

 

  • Coordinate with logistics providers to arrange the shipment and delivery of goods from international suppliers.
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.
  • Work with customs brokers to ensure smooth customs clearance and compliance with import/export regulations.
  • Manage and optimize logistics costs, including freight, customs duties, and taxes.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.Strong negotiation and contract management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in procurement and logistics software (e.g., Odoo).Familiarity with international trade laws and customs regulations.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is an asset.
