Responsibilities :
- Developing quality assurance plans specific to each construction project, outlining procedures, standards, and processes to ensure quality throughout all project phases.
- Conducting inspections and tests of construction materials, workmanship, and installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
- Maintaining detailed records of inspections, tests, and non-conformances, and preparing quality control reports for submission to project stakeholders.
- Monitoring subcontractors’ quality control activities, ensuring that their work meets project requirements and quality standards.
- Performing periodic quality audits to verify compliance with quality management plans and identify areas for improvement.
- Identifying and addressing non-conformances promptly, including documenting issues, determining root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues and ensure that project milestones are achieved.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, building codes, and industry standards.
- Integrating quality control activities with safety procedures to promote a safe working environment.
- Providing training and guidance to construction personnel on quality control processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Participating in lessons learned sessions and contributing to continuous improvement efforts to enhance project quality and efficiency.
