Job Description


  • Produce detailed shop drawings and specify the nature, quantity, and quality of materials required and select suitable materials (wood, metal, accessories, paint, textiles, fabrics, etc…).
  • Produce cutting lists needed for furniture and woodwork production.
  • Ensure high quality, innovative, functional production solutions and ensure the proper conversion of the design into processes and steps.
  • Work closely with other related technical / non-technical departments (production, warehouse, design, procurement, sales, finance, operations, etc…)
  • Represent the company in technical meetings and presentations.
  • Receive the final approved & signed documents (B.O.Q – P.O, etc…)
  • Send all of the order documents to all of the concerned department/parties to start their role(s).
  • Manage the operations report including all of the project phases.
  • Prepare and review working shop drawings for projects & its facilities whenever needed.
  • Responsible for the full order until delivery
  • Preparing Furniture 3d renderings according to client's need
  • Costing & cost analysis.
  • Cutting lists, bill of material
  • Prioritize and manage several open projects at one time


Job Requirements


  • Bachelor of engineering or applied arts
  • 5 years of experience as a technical office engineer in furniture factories/woodworks industry.
  • Furniture manufacturing experience
  • Excellent knowledge of 3D and 2D software
  • Quantity surveying.
  • Costing & cost analysis.
  • Cutting lists.
  • Shop-drawings
  • Excellent command of MS Office applications (Word – Excel - PowerPoint)
  • Aware of the furniture/interiors industry and the manufacturing phases and components
