Strategy
• Liaise with the Chairman & Managing Director to participate in drawing the company roadmap in sense of Human Resources strategies like; Talent Management, building internal capabilities, Being employer of choice and deciding the pay strategy.
Operations
• Participate with Chairman and concerned stakeholders the planning for any business expansions or new projects’ set up.
• Interact on daily basis with all Functional Directors and Managers to keep them abreast of any HR-Related news and issues.
• Oversee the best utilization of the approved HR annual budget and avoid any deviations.
• Oversee the HR policies and procedures implementation to assure compliance with governing regulations and best practices.
• Oversee the HR-Governmental activities to guarantee no risk would be on the company.
• Oversee the HR department communication and integration with other departments and functions seeking smooth internal operations.
• Decide the HR team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and follow up with them the achievement progress.
• Follow up the implementation of the yearly HR action plans.
• Oversee the pay practices implementation (annual increment – new hires salary – performance bonus, etc..) to assure compliance with the authority matrix and internal equity.
• Keep the top management updated of any changes in labor market nationally and propose adjustment and development to the current HR systems to maintain Kahraba’s competitiveness in Energy market.
• Oversee the yearly performance appraisal cycles and approve the related report before submission to Chairman.
• Develop the performance-related annual increment and performance bonus matrix and get it approved from Chairman.
• Review and approve the needed monthly, Quarterly and Yearly reports. And make any HR-related presentations in front of Chairman and Board.
• Review and approve the yearly training plan in a way that covers the current and near future business needs.
• Follow up the implementation of the Succession Planning & Career Paths programs.
People
• Develop strong working relationships with other Directors, Managers and Peers.
• Keep an active 2-way healthy communication channels with all employees.
Finance
• Work on Initiatives that contribute to HR operations cost reduction.
• Efficiently utilizing the HR annual budget.
• BSc in Human Resources Management or equivalent studies. • Master degree in Human Resources or General Management is mandatory. • Other specialized HR studies are preferred. • 15:20 years of relevant HR experience. • Proven track record as HR Director is preferred. • Experience in Energy and Utilities industries is a plus.• Very good command of English Language • Excellent communication and analytical skills.• Very good usage of Microsoft package. • Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices of HR management
