Site QA/QC Manager

  1. Manages and controls all Q/C project activities.
  2. Prepares the project QA / QC forecasting look ahead, work load and employing plan to cover the running and future project(s).
  3. Prepares and maintains Q/C project budgets and resources plan, and provide staffing activities..
  4. Responsible for the administration and functional direction of the Q/C personnel
  5. Coordinates with the Construction Supervision Division General Manager, project management, and other departments to avail the site support and satisfy the site needs and requirements.
  6. Sets-up with the project manager the site organizations for all site jobs, nominate and assign the required Q/C personnel for these organizations.
  7. Prepares the training programs required for Mechanical / Civil/ E &I Installations QC Engineers and ensure that they are trained and certified properly for the required inspection levels.
  8. Monitors the performance of the project QC/QA personnel e.g. using key performance indicator(s) and take the necessary action to continually improve the performance.
  9. Prepares, ensures the full implementation of and maintains the Company manuals, procedures and departmental work instructions in accordance with the requirements of the Company Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management systems.
  10. Establishes and ensures the awareness and implementation of the Quality Control programs and Quality Assurance procedures for the department activities within the frame work of the overall Company Quality Management System.
  11. Ensures the full awareness and implementation of the applicable requirements of the Company Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management systems.
  12. Defines the authorities and responsibilities of the key personnel within the department who are concerned with reviewing, verification and validation of the department work.
  13. Maintains control over performance of department personnel, keeps close contact with project managers and other department managers to meet job schedules and flow of information and takes corrective action when necessary.
  14. Approves the annual Performance Evaluation Reports prepared by direct supervisor or section head for each employee in the department in accordance with Company procedures.
  15. Approves payment vouchers, project supplies and service requisitions.
  16. Assumes custody of all project QC/QA technical resources (software, design manuals, engineering guidebooks, catalogues…etc.) and the control of their handling and other security aspects.
