Job Summary: The Head of Stage for KG to Elementary provides leadership and management for the early years and primary education teams. This role ensures the delivery of a high-quality curriculum, supports teacher development, and fosters a safe and effective learning environment. The Head of Stage plays a crucial role in aligning the stage's operations with the school’s Vision, Mission, and Values and adheres to Cognia accreditation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Management: Lead and support KG to Elementary teachers, including setting performance expectations and conducting evaluations.
- Curriculum Oversight: Develop, implement, and review the curriculum to ensure it meets educational standards and school goals.
- Academic Operations: Manage daily operations, including class scheduling, resource allocation, and monitoring teaching effectiveness.
- Compliance & Accreditation: Ensure that all practices align with Cognia accreditation standards and school policies.
- Communication: Facilitate effective communication between teachers, parents, and school administration to support student development.
- Professional Development: Organize and support ongoing professional development for staff to enhance teaching practices.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.At least 4 years of experience in a leadership role within an American International School.Demonstrated experience with Cognia accreditation processes is highly desirable.Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
