Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the operational processes of our travel agency. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless service delivery, and driving operational efficiency across all departments. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the travel industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily operations of the travel agency, including booking, ticketing, reservations, and customer service.
  • Ensure all travel arrangements comply with company standards and client requirements.
  • Monitor and manage supplier relationships, including airlines, hotels, and other service providers.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of travel consultants, ensuring high levels of performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Client Relations:

  • Maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring service excellence.
  • Address and resolve any client issues or complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Work closely with the sales team to support client acquisition and retention strategies.

Financial Management:

  • Manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximizing profitability.
  • Analyze financial performance, providing regular reports to senior management.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising service quality.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously review and enhance operational processes to improve efficiency and service delivery.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices into the agency’s operations.
  • Lead the implementation of new technologies and systems to streamline operations.

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to travel operations.
  • Manage risk by developing and implementing policies and procedures to mitigate potential issues.
  • Ensure the safety and security of clients and staff during travel arrangements.

Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management within the travel or hospitality industry.Proven track record of managing large teams and overseeing complex operations.Strong understanding of travel agency operations, including booking systems, supplier management, and customer service.Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in travel management software and other relevant technologies.Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
