Responsible for supporting the technical aspects of solar projects, including design, documentation, and financial modeling.
- Prepare the project pre-construction files (SLD, project design drawings, technical details, BOQ, etc.) and studying the tender documents (specifications, drawing, BOQ, method of measurements and contracts) to review the contract, compare it with documents.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure pricing of the items is on time and review the Material List and follow up with the purchasing department to ensure the Material quality.
- Assist in preparation of financial and technical comparison sheets to analyze the variance of commercial and technical offer.
- Ensure that drawings and bills of materials are done on time, including covering all project requirements and correct quality.
- Resolve any technical issues or construction errors that may arise in the site to prevent any delay in the project.
- Implementing and updating engineering tools and databases.
Bachelor’s degree in Renewable Energy (is preferred) or Electrical Engineering.3 to 5 years of experience Self-motivated and eager to learn.Able to manage concurrent schedules, and competing prioritiesKnowledge of Electrical Code, PV-related sections.Good command of Engineering Software’s (including PVsyst, PVSol, Revit & AutoCAD) skills Experience with system modeling and production estimation software highly desirable
