Job Description- Supervision and Coordination: Assist the Maintenance Manager in supervising maintenance staff and coordinating their work schedules and assignments.
- Maintenance Planning: Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to develop maintenance plans, schedules, and procedures to ensure effective equipment and facility operations.
- Repair and Troubleshooting: Oversee troubleshooting and repair activities for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during maintenance activities. Conduct regular inspections to identify and address safety hazards.
- Budget Management: Assist in managing the maintenance budget by monitoring expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and maintaining accurate records.
- Inventory Control: Manage inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, and equipment. Coordinate procurement and storage of necessary materials.
- Training and Development: Support the training and development of maintenance staff. Provide guidance and mentorship to enhance technical skills and performance.
- Emergency Response: Coordinate emergency response activities related to maintenance issues. Implement contingency plans to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of operations.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on maintenance activities, including work orders completed, maintenance costs, and equipment performance.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services as needed. Ensure vendor compliance with contract terms and quality standards.
- Prepare and Follow up Maintenance plan For Production Lines.
- Monitors all equipment’s on production line, makes necessary adjustments and / or repairs to maintain smooth running of production lines.
- Ensuring that machinery, systems, infrastructure, and equipment run optimally with minimal downtime.
- Develop operation & maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
- Undertaking planned maintenance and implements the regular preventive maintenance program.
Job RequirementsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred. Relevant experience may be substituted for educational requirements.Experience: Proven experience in maintenance operations, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory SAP UserDemonstrated knowledge of maintenance planning process and principles.Technical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems. Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.Practical experience of planning and scheduling toolsLeadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Ability to motivate and develop a diverse team of maintenance technicians.Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
