Job Summary: The Accounting/Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance. The successful candidate will provide strategic financial insights to senior management and ensure the financial health and stability of the company.
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure effective internal controls.Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO/president and members of the executive management team.Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax returns and compliance with all relevant tax regulations.Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors.Manage cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training and development opportunities.
