Overview: As the Factory Manager for our confidential company, you will be a key leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing manufacturing operations. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring operational efficiency, product quality, and overall plant performance while maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive company information.
Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
- Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with department heads to streamline production processes and enhance overall factory performance.
Team Management:
- Supervise and motivate a diverse team of production staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to enhance team skills.
Production Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and implement production plans, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
- Collaborate with the supply chain and logistics teams to manage inventory levels and meet production schedules.
Quality Control:
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve any product or process issues.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
Cost Management:
- Work closely with the CFO to manage and optimize production costs.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or safety.
Continuous Improvement:
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and streamline processes.
- Implement best practices and lean manufacturing principles.
Communication and Reporting:
- Maintain open and effective communication channels with cross-functional teams.
- Provide regular reports to upper management on factory performance, challenges, and opportunities.
Qualifications:Proven experience as a Factory Manager or in a senior manufacturing leadership role.Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges.Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.The Factory Manager will be a critical contributor to the success of our confidential company's manufacturing operations, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency, quality, and safety.
