Sales Team Leader - Steel Fabrication

  •    Participates in Company strategy meetings, to identify the annual company corporate objectives while ensuring the integration and alignment of the department strategic objectives within the overall company strategic plans.

•    Develops the annual sales plan including the key performance indicators: Sales targets, targeted (new & existing) customers, needed resources and budget, targeted products, expected sales volume, and expected profits, ensuring alignment with the company strategy and goals.

•    Develops Sales Operating Manual, monitors its implementation and makes sure that they are clearly updated and transmitted to their subordinates, according to business requirements

•   Manages sales activities pertaining to; market scan, opportunity identification and evaluation and submit the results to the Steel CEO for approval

•   Identifies new sectors (public & private), ensuring diversification of the steel customer base to achieve the desired growth plans.

•   Manages the sales process from the negotiation phase through deal closure, ensuring profitability, healthy product mix, and customer satisfaction.

•   Issues periodical sales reports illustrating analysis on volume, product mix, and product performance and submits them to the Steel CEO for decision making purposes.

•   Supports SMO with market data (product performance, customers and sales channels, sector trends, competition analysis) that would enhance Company’s differentiation and maintain its competitive advantage.

•  Conducts performance appraisal sessions with the immediate subordinates, sets the development plans and training needs and follows up on the execution of the allocated training / program and evaluates its success.


Bachelor’s degrees in Engineering is preferred and a post-graduate certification is a must (i.e., MBA, master’s degree in business)7 - 10 years of professional experience
