- Safety:
- Ensure implementation of Global and local safety rules in workplace, including but not limited to risk assessments, work permits, and Lock-out/Tag-outs for maintenance activities.
- Proactively identify potential safety hazards, promptly addressing them to mitigate risks and maintain a safe work environment.
- Conducting safety incident investigations, with cooperation with HSSE team, aim to identifying root causes, and implementing appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Performance:
- Monitor and control all maintenance shift-related work orders, ensuring end-to-end management.
- Apply global standards and procedures for work execution and management.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of equipment Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and collaborate with all stakeholders, and his team, to work towards achieving the required targets.
- Take a proactive approach to identify gaps in performance and initiate investigations to understand the underlying causes, implementing necessary improvements to bring the process and team back on track towards meeting the required performance levels.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the maintenance team, promoting open dialogue, feedback, and knowledge sharing to enhance performance and drive results.
Maintenance Strategy:
- Monitor equipment repair strategies and shift resources suitability, providing feedback to the Maintenance planning and Managers.
People and communication
- Ensure effective handover of work between shifts.
- Provide day-to-day supervision and coordination of the shift working teams.
- Maintain clear communication with internal clients, external customers, and suppliers.
Cost Management
- Monitor shift working maintenance and repair costs, ensuring compliance with terminal plans & Budget.
- Improve utilization and hands-on tool time of technicians, taking ownership of performance issues.
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar working environment.Experience in heavy equipment maintenance specially in mobile equipment as (Trucks, Trailers, reach stacker, empty handler, ….) is preferred.Good knowledge/experience on electrical vehicles maintenance is preferred. CMRP certificate, or similar technical certificates would be preferred.Understanding of Asset Maintenance planning and scheduling metrics, principles, processes, and requirements.Practical work organization and dispatching of shift working resources.Self-motivated and result oriented.Highly disciplined – following through on actions and ensuring necessary documentation and work order records are properly closed out.High-quality awareness and ability to work with constant care.Sensitive to cultural diversity and experience in a multicultural environment, with respect to employees, local authorities, and other stakeholders.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate.Good written English and verbal communication.
