Quality Duties and responsibilities:

1. Planning for various quality activities needed within the company that ensures the highest level of product quality. This includes:
2. Quality department mission & objectives.
3. System audit plan.
4. Process audit plans
5. Product audit processes.
6. Customer complaints management.
7. Continuous improvement process.
8. Highly contributes in setting of the company management system and quality policy.
9. Select, recruit and train the highly qualified candidates in quality department that share in achieving the departmental objectives.
10. Leading, motivating and coaching of the quality team towards the team work culture to effectively achieve the departmental objectives.
11. Report, discuss and present the product quality level for to the management as well as other departments.
12. Supervise the establishment, implementation and maintain the quality management system and reporting the performance of the quality to the plant general manager.
13. Plan, coordinate and ensure implementation of other management systems and international standards related and needed for the company work scope.
14. Direct effort towards quality documentation, including providing procedures, training and resources.
15. Attend departmental staff meeting, morning briefing, audit reviews to acquire, explain, clarify or amplify on reports, feedbacks, issues, etc. in relation to quality.
16. Appraise his subordinates and follow up their performance through annual appraisal system,
17. Receive all departmental correspondences, read and route to proper quality personnel or outside quality department, as appropriate, for disposition and follow up to ensure answers when required.
18. Follow up customer satisfaction through regular meetings with corresponding quality departments at customers and develop and implement and maintain needed corrective actions.
19. Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
20. Devise and review specifications for products or processes
21. Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
22. Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements
23. Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures
24. Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential quality issues and ensure adherence to established procedures.
25. Analyze quality data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
26. Work collaboratively with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues promptly and effectively.
27. Maintain a working knowledge of all relevant industry standards and regulations related to exhaust systems.
28. Prepare and maintain quality control documentation, including reports and records.
29. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality. 
30. Establish and maintain and review Products Control plans and FMEAS
31. Perform process audits and conclude area of non-conformities and areas for improvement
32. Measure and monitor the Quality KPIS to assure achieving the set targets
33. Receive and accompany all external audits (customers, 3rd party)
34. Perform liaison among groups, departments, or divisions of company, on matters relating to major customer complaints, claims and losses due to handling damage, internal defect, rework, process deviations etc.
35. Follow up company rules and regulations, discipline, health and safety
36. Carry out any special tasks assigned from plant manager related to his work scope

Engineering Duties and responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the engineering team, providing direction, mentorship, and support.
2. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
3. Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects.
4. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
5. Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth project workflow.
6. Lead the design and development of new exhaust system products.
7. Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new projects.
8. Ensure all engineering activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
9. Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols within the engineering department.
10. Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team and other departments.
11. Work closely with the production, quality, and sales teams to ensure product specifications meet customer requirements.
12. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and other external partners.
13. Communicate engineering plans, progress, and challenges to senior management.
14. Appraise his subordinates and follow up their performance through annual appraisal system.
15. Follow company's rules and regulations, discipline, health and safety.
16. Ability to read drawings and external BOM

Skills

Qualification

1. Engineering bachelor degree
2. ISO IATF lead auditor
3. PMP certificate
4. Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is a plus

Experience:

1. 10 years’ experience
2. Proven experience as a Quality or Engineering Manager or in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
3. Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and standards
4. Experience in all phases of manufacturing with relevant experience in similar position.
5. Proven experience of leading projects

Knowledge:

1. Robust knowledge about manufacturing international standards
2. Robust ISO standards (IATF–14001-45001, 17025 - VDA)
3. Design programs (AutoCAD – CATIA, etc...)
