  • Dedicating to a business area (BA) operates in principle at the branch level but may operate also at the regional/area level.
  • Owning the Johnson Controls Building efficiency value proposition to customers by continuously optimizing the link between the customer’s operational and business objectives, needs, requirements, and the JohnsonControls solutions to provide a total value solution and competitive advantage.
  • Owning and directing long-term customer relationships/partnerships and is fully responsible for customer satisfaction through executing the sales process.
  • Seeking out, qualifying, and closing large & more complex new sales opportunities, specifically focusing on new business growth.
  • Understanding & applying knowledge of competitors’ business strategies, products, and services to favorably differentiate Johnson Controls from them.
  • Creating competitive, high-quality, timely estimates, bids, proposals, and cost/benefit analyses. Ensure new proposals and bids comply with Johnson Controls standards & expectations before the customer presentation.
  • Owning final negotiations on value and impact on the customer’s business to close the sale.
  • Responsible for optimizing terms & conditions that impact Accounts Receivable (A/R) and assure full compliance with Johnson Controls’ financial standards.
  • Keeping business area (BA) and regional leadership informed of changes in the marketplace and progress on customer status. Calls for broader Johnson Controls leadership assistance to proactively drive the sales process.
  • Utilizing applicable sales tools effectively to plan and document progress as well as to increase business growth.
  • Building & maintaining a network of contacts, soliciting support from and communicating effectively with the broader
  • Participating as a leader in professional organizations and appropriate trade shows.


 


Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or equivalent5 to 7 years of active experience in a higher-level, high-value, complex sales position.Experience in the HVAC industry is a mustHaving experience in Chillers is a must.Excellent initiative, and interpersonal communication skills both in writing and verbal.Actively listens, probes, and identifies concerns. Understand the customer’s business and speak their language.Demonstrate strong technical subject matter expertise to foster credibility, loyalty, trust, and commitment.
