The Mechanical Project Engineer is responsible for the design, coordination, and oversight of mechanical systems and components for consultant of building projects.  This role involves applying mechanical engineering principles and methods to ensure the successful completion of project objectives while meeting efficiency, performance, and cost requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a full lifecycle design development, BOQ surveys and specifications
• Review the design calculations needed for projects
• BIM Modeling and coordination for all projects using BIM software (e.g. Revit, Navisworks,..)
• Supervise the shop drawings and MEP coordination issues.
• Prepare product reports and documentation
• Engage in lifelong learning and develop new theories or methods
• Select appropriate mechanical equipment, materials, and systems based on project needs, building codes, and industry standards.
• Perform load calculations, system sizing, and energy analyses to optimize the performance and efficiency of the mechanical systems.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, diagrams, and documentation, including HVAC layouts, plumbing schematics, and equipment schedules.
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, ASHRAE standards, and other applicable regulations.
• Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and client presentations to communicate progress and address concerns.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in building mechanical systems.
