1. Basic Responsibilities:
- Conduct chemical research and experiments to develop new products, improve existing products, and ensure the safety and quality of chemical processes and materials.

- Research and Development: Conduct research to develop new chemical products, processes, and technologies, as well as to improve existing ones.
- Chemical Analysis: Perform chemical analyses of materials and products using various techniques and instruments to determine their composition and properties.
- Lab Experiments: Design and conduct laboratory experiments to test hypotheses, analyze results, and draw conclusions.
- Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure the safety, efficacy, and compliance of chemical products with industry standards and regulations.
- Documentation: Document all research and experiment results accurately, maintaining detailed records and reports for future reference and regulatory compliance.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all laboratory practices and processes comply with safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents and protect personnel.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and other scientists, to achieve research and development goals.
- Technical Support: Provide technical support and expertise to other departments, such as production, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs.
- Training: Train and mentor junior chemists, lab technicians, and other staff on laboratory techniques, safety protocols, and best practices.

- Safety Performance: Evaluate adherence to safety protocols and the number of safety incidents in the laboratory.
- Collaboration Effectiveness: Assess the effectiveness of collaboration with cross-functional teams and the impact on project outcomes.
4. DYNAMICS / LIAISE:

- Collaborate with research and development teams, production departments, and quality assurance to ensure the successful implementation of chemical processes and products.
- Work with safety officers to enforce safety protocols and guidelines in the laboratory.

- Engage with suppliers, vendors, and external research institutions to source materials, obtain technical support, and stay informed about industry trends and advancements.
- Work with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with chemical regulations and standards.
5. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 0-3 years of experience in chemical research, laboratory work, or related roles.6. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITY:Strong understanding of chemical principles, laboratory techniques, and analytical methods.Proficiency in using laboratory instruments and software for chemical analysis and data interpretation.Knowledge of quality control procedures and safety regulations in a laboratory setting.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to design and conduct experiments and analyze results.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.Strong organizational and documentation skills, with attention to detail in maintaining accurate records and reports.7.
