Sales Representative - Intern

Core Responsibilities and Duties: (Includes but not limited to)

  • Maintain working relationships with existing clients to ensure that they receive exceptional service and to identify potential new sales opportunities
  • Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle objections
  • Generating leads.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
  • Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Understanding and promoting company programs.
  • Obtaining deposits and balance of payment from clients.
  • Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Maintaining client records.
  • Answering client questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.

 


Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or related field.O-1 years of experienceExcellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skillsProficiency with sales management software and CRMStrong ability to balance persuasion with professionalismSuperb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, and outlookAble to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
