Technical Sales Engineer

  • Define project stages and the objectives and costs associated with each stage.
  • Identify the resources required at each project stage to meet project objectives and negotiate the release of these resources with operational managers
  • Coordinate projects across the company to determine project objectives and timetable and to ensure that all objectives are met within agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Maintain regular contact with operational managers and external contractors to define the scope of projects and the resulting implementation plans.
  • Identifying and establishing new business
  • Organizing sales visits
  • Preparing tenders, proposals and quotations
  • Meeting sales targets
  • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs
  • Developing long-term relationships with clients, through managing and offer solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements
  • Plan and modify products to meet customer needs
  • Calculating client quotations
  • Negotiating tender and contract terms
  • Negotiating and closing sales by agreeing on terms and conditions
  • Working on after-sales support services and providing technical back up as required.
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
  • Solving client problems
  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
