• Organize and supervise the activities and work of a small team of subordinates to ensure that all work within a specific area of maintenance activity is carried out in an efficient and procedurally compliant manner.
• Create AM/PM engaged culture with shared responsibilities between operators, technicians, engineers, and the respective leadership/management teams. Support and drive TPM culture improvements and maturity.
• Implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures, and instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
• Supervises the day-to-day operations of maintenance to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes, and procedures
• Develop & implement maintenance plan for plant equipment and ensure quality of execution through day, month and year.
• Reasonable for implementation and improvement in the OPERAT/MAINTAIN strategy in his area
• Carry out maintenance repair’s activities effectively and efficiently.
• Ensure smooth shift hand over and information transfer and communication between shifts.
• Track all maintenance KPIs on a daily time base effectively and take proper actions with the team after alignment with maintenance Manager
• Adopt a cost-conscious approach to utilization of approved resources including maintenance tools, equipment, spare parts and manpower.
• Establish effective co-ordination with internal client to ensure harmonization of activities
• Check and calibrate machinery and equipment after performing maintenance works to make sure they are accurate according to standards of quality.
• Respond to equipment faults and attend major breakdowns onsite ensuring that there is always a rapid response and that plant equipment and machinery breakdown time is minimized.
• Mange any emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs appear in his shift to and ensure smooth run of all equipment and machinery.
• Analyse the root causes of equipment failures; specify the best course of action to repair the equipment to minimize the repair time and ensure best quality.
• Allocate team of maintenance technicians and monitor work progress in an allocated segment to ensure that all maintenance and repairs related activities are completed on time.
• Providing technical support to maintenance technicians and diagnose and troubleshoot major and complex problems
• Support running projects and the installation of new machines or equipment.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
• Use innovative thinking to introduce and support new ideas and initiatives.
• Prepare reports timely and accurately to meet Savola and department requirements, policies and standards.
• Generate down time reports and database information for allocated segment in the shift in order to monitor and track work progress.

• Training and coaching / mentoring of associates in SME elements, which will include Breakdown Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, Periodic Maintenance, Predictive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, and Maintenance Prevention
• Monitor the adherence to all relevant safety and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
