- Preparing all technical submittals (shop drawings, material submittals…. Etc.) in coordination with PM in accordance with project specifications, approvals.
- Preparing, coding, and issuing all fabrication orders in accordance with approved documents, site conditions and PM priorities in coordination with project team.
- Preparing, updating material take-off sheet of the project throughout project duration in coordination with relevant departments.
- Acting as standardization of all technical contributions (shop drawings /calculation notes/fabrication orders/ technical submittals……etc.) to ensure uniform presentations to customers, standardized fabrication orders for the factory, and a standardized list of raw materials for all systems as far as possible.
- Providing design solutions and concepts in a timely manner to support the estimation team in the award of new contracts.
- Providing and up-keep an in-depth technical knowledge of current design solutions, materials, manufacturing and install best practice allowing us to have a competitive advantage over other facade suppliers.
- Matching design solutions to project specifications and budgets.
- Carrying out effective Value Engineering with other members of the team to provide cost savings for the client and Co.
- Managing day to day design issues supporting the design team, third-party design contractors and/or other departments to reach solutions in a timely manner.
- Attending specification/design meetings with Architects, Specialist Contractors, Consultants and Client's representative.
Visit sites regularly as required.
Experience 5 – 8 Years.Proven working experience as a Senior Project EngineerHands-on experience with AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Excel.Time management and organization skillsAttention to details.Ability to focus under pressure and meet deadlines.
