You will be working as Production Supervisor and will be part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to LV Operations Lead and will be responsible to ensure efficient and cost-effective production results that meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets through the coordination and management of plant equipment, personnel, and production processes (quantity, quality, budgeted costs, and proper productivity level), generate a detailed production schedule based on the production plan to maximize the use of resources and meet established production specifications and schedules, in addition to engineering BOMs for manufactured parts.Your responsibilitiesOrganizing and allocating resources to meet line production targets effectively and efficiently, responding to resource issues as necessary, leading capacity planning and resource optimization for the assigned unit or lineIdentifying and recommending technical equipment and facility improvements as necessary, ensuring execution of volume, conforming product and on-time delivery targets for the assigned production linesIdentifying deficiencies in production area, proposing improvement activities and overseeing implementation of actions to improve production performanceManaging the resolution of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams, creating engineering BOMs for metal and plastic manufactured in feeder factoryEnsuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed, guiding, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policiesLiving ABB’s core values of HSE and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the businessYour backgroundBachelor’s Degree in relevant field5+ years of experienceKnowledge of both conventional and CNC machines (lathe/milling/drilling/presses), in addition to other metal processing (metal cutting, bending, welding)knowledge about plastic injection and dies design, knowledge of CAD/CAM programs (SolidWorks/AutoCAD is a plus)Managing multiple tasks with efficient time management and have previous experience in metal shaping industries is a mustIndustrial Engineering background is a plusFluency in English language is mandatory More about usABB's Distribution Solutions Division provides utility, industrial and commercial customers with safe, smart and sustainable technologies for the distribution of electricity.
