Chemist for the Plant
 

Job description:

• Writing of Raw Materials on the Charging book as per Formula
• Arranging of Raw materials near the reactors/machines as per formula with weights.
• Testing of Raw materials with the help of Laboratory
• Making Functional tests by making lab batches.
• Charging of Raw material as per Batch plan, after taking weighing and entering in the record
• Processing of materials in reactors/machines as per the formulations by maintaining temperatures given in the formula
• Recording all process steps in the log sheet, Batch. No of Raw materials used, supplier name, etc., to maintain traceability
• To perform In-process tests and as per results required actions to take, to meet the customer specifications.
• To Keep all Intermediates and finished products with labels for traceability.
• Maintaining an inventory of Raw materials /Intermediates/ Finished products.
• Preparing daily / Monthly reports of production/Dispatches/yields,/Energy consumption.
• Training the operators and workers
• Ensuring all employees follow safety requirements
• Informing any abnormalities to superiors from time to time.
• Working for the development of products a) to reduce Raw material consumption b) improve quality c) reduction of cycle times d) Improvement of yield e) Energy-saving projects
• Maintain housekeeping
• Maintain ISO documents and records.
• Ensure that all employees follow Safety and wear PPEs.
• Performing in new projects, new assignments given by superiors from time to time.
   

Please note that Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English language is a must.
