• Assisting the lead teacher in planning and implementing educational activities and lessons.
• Supporting the lead teacher in creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Helping students with tasks such as classroom assignments, projects, and homework.
• Providing one-on-one or small group instruction to students who need extra support.
• Monitoring student behavior and assisting with classroom management.
• Supervising students during transitions, recess, lunch, and other activities.
• Assisting with the setup and cleanup of classroom materials and resources.
• Collaborating with the lead teacher to assess student progress and development.
• Communicating regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
• Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.
• Following all school policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Maintaining confidentiality of student information and records.
• Contributing ideas and suggestions for improving teaching methods and classroom activities.
• Providing emotional support and encouragement to students as needed.
• Assisting with administrative tasks such as record-keeping, attendance, and preparing instructional materials.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in education, early childhood education, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience working with children in a classroom setting is desirable.
• Passion for working with children and helping them learn and grow.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and understanding of children's needs and development.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and the classroom.
• Basic understanding of educational principles and teaching methods.

• CPR and first aid certification may be required, depending on the setting.
• Any additional certifications or training related to early childhood education are a plus.
