Job Statement:

Required Head of Project Management for Powerline industries who is needed for management of all projects execution activities in the area of responsibility. Ensure operations are executed in accordance with company procedures, contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments. 

Coordinate and oversee team development and standardized process development to continually improve effectiveness of project execution teams.

 

Job Scope

  • Leads implementation of continuous improvements for the project execution strategy for the project operation.
  • Leads and overseas the project execution teams ensuring that all Powerline policies are consistently followed. 
  • Develops, customizes and continuously improves standard processes and work instructions by adopting Powerline methods with external best practices. 
  • Ensures that lessons learned from project execution are analyzed and conclusions are incorporated in continuous improvement actions.
  • Participates in Sales and Operations planning with other members of the business unit management team and takes actions to close potential gaps in project execution capacity.
  • Serves as an escalation point for individual and systemic project management issues within the project execution team and maintains relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Supervises project execution and reports directly to the management the overall picture of the backlog to discuss the contracts fulfilment and production capacity planning.
  • Ensures that the area of responsibility is structured to fit the business model, sufficiently staffed with skilled resources and directed appropriately.
  • Leads and coaches the project execution team to achieve business objectives, i.e. to drive efficiency and effectiveness, improve cash flow, revenue and profitability. 
  • Defines organization of the project in coordination with the Project Manager by assigning project team members to projects based on competencies, customers and availability. 

Main RequirementsElectrical Engineering Bachelor’s degree10 -12 years of experience in a related field.Must have a good knowledge in panel building or assembly industry.3+ years of experience in team management.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English& Arabic languages.Interpersonal SkillsFamiliarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standardsDemonstrated experience within a commercial environment and managing projectAbility to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.MS Office skillsCommunicating and Negotiating SkillsManaging change and Analyzing risksThinking systemically and Understanding the needs of peopleProject management and supervision skillsPMP Professional certification
