- Verify, allocate, post and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Recording expenses and reconciliation with invoices
- Keeping track of all payments including , purchase orders, invoices and statements
- Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding balance
- Submit monthly report of value added tax (VAT).
- Submit weekly report of sales and shipment collection
- Manage refunding to customers
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Preparing analyses of accounts monthly reports.
- Regular reporting on sales against budgets and accurate forecasting
- Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results
- Analyze financial information and summarize financial status
- Assist with tax audits and tax returns
- Direct internal and external audits to ensure compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevantProven experience as senior accountant, and as e-commerce accountant is a plus.Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like FreshBooks and QuickBooksThorough knowledge of basic accounting proceduresFamiliarity with financial accounting statementsIn-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Awareness of business trendsExperience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close processAdvanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tablesAccuracy and attention to detailAptitude for numbers and quantitative skillsRelevant certification (e.g. CMA or CPA) will be preferred
