Cost Control Manager

Egypt - Cairo

1- Create and improve the Cost Control department policies, procedures and processes to ensure efficient functioning.

2- Review new-awarded projects, identify initial cost-related risks, and areas of concern, and prepare preliminary cash flow for financial needs.

3- Assign the projects to the cost control engineers and hire additional engineers when needed.

4- Follow-up preparing the indirect cost plan and make any amendments when needed to be sent to the project manager.

5- Monitor projects’ progress; compare actual executed works against planned, and issue work volume status reports on a monthly basis for project directors and Top Management.

6- Update project cash flow every quarter concerning progress updates, cost under or overrun and approved scope changes.

7- Consolidate the projects in reports in terms of cost and work volume to show the Top Management the revenue, gross profit percentage and estimate at completion.


Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering12 - 18 Years of construction experience in vertical and horizontal projectsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint).Experience in Large Mixed Use Projectscandidates must be proficient with standard cost management, estimating, and project controls software, and should be familiar with scheduling.A CCC, PMI or AACE certification will be considered an asset.Excellent English Language SkillsIn-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles and familiarity with quality and health and safety standardsRelative experience in the Saudi MarketWillingness to travel as business objectives require
