Business Support and Operations Specialist

  • To build and maintain professional relationships, effectively communicate with Customers/Partners as well as internal stakeholders (Supply Chain, Service Providers, Sales Team) and to continuously update and keep informed of key data in present CRM System.
  • To manage the Order Handling process from reception of the order to the delivery and/or Payment Collection, including a strong focus on proactive Orderbook Management.
  • To handle quotations according to local delegation rules, including activities for generation of leads (e.g. marketing campaigns), opportunities and proactive follow-up.
  • To safeguard the fulfilment of customer deliver requirements, whilst selecting the most cost-effective supply option, by continuous follow-up of schedules, delivery pattern, supply and shipments, service deliveries, logistic cost etc.
  • To contribute to promoting SKF e-commerce solutions.
  • To manage Post Sales Activities (claims, returns etc.) and coordinate implementation of corrective actions.
  • To support Account/Sales Manager with contract preparation, sales history analysis, opportunity development across platforms etc.
  • To handle the Payment Collection process acting on goods transit, overdues, payment conditions, credit limits etc. contributing to a positive cash-flow.
  • To know the designation system, main product/service assortment, relevant technology platforms as well as production and stocking points within relevant area of responsibility.
  • To continuously contribute to improvement of existing and development of new processes.
  • To follow and safeguard SKF Export Control Policies, Instructions and procedures within the Customer Service area of responsibility; to identify Export Control risks and exposers and actively prevent them from happening , and to report non-compliance in regards to Export Control according to the reporting chain.
  • To follow management instructions and procedures; to report Environment Health and Safety (EHS) risks and EHS related incidents; to follow quality and requirements, and identify quality risks and opportunities for improvement. 

College or university degree, preferably in mechanical engineering, business administration, IT or equivalent.Strong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishStrong computer skills   Good planning, coordination, communication, interpersonal and problem solving skillsThe ability to work as a member of a productive team in both an internal and customer setting.Good working knowledge in sales and commercial practicesSelf-driven personalitySales, Marketing, CRM, Project Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics Services
