" Misr El Kheir Foundation is now hiring Staff with a desire to work on improving public schools in Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, and Aswan with high migrant and refugee population densities to provide quality education services and create an encouraging safe, and inclusive learning environment through renovating and equipping public schools with education-related tools and technology equipment and in addition, building the capacity of teachers, social workers, and psychosocial support specialists. The project is also intended to select CBOs operating in targeted communities, with clear fair selection criteria, and build their operational capacity to carry out engagement activities for refugees, assess their needs, and develop responsive interventions. "
Tasks and responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to farmers and other project beneficiaries in implementing project activities.
• Facilitate organizing training sessions and workshops for project beneficiaries on different relevant topics.
• Ensure the timely and effective implementation of all agricultural productivity enhancement activities. This may involve overseeing the establishment of solar dryer Units, the distribution of agricultural inputs, and the training of farmers.
• Coordinate with local government agencies, agricultural extension workers, and other stakeholders to ensure the project is implemented efficiently and effectively.
• Coordinate with the project team, local stakeholders, and community members to plan and implement agricultural productivity enhancement activities. This will involve scheduling activities, assigning tasks to project staff, and communicating with stakeholders.
• Conduct field visits and provide regular feedback to the project management team on progress.
• Assist in the development and implementation of project monitoring and evaluation plans.
• Support the project management team in developing and implementing strategies to increase project impact and sustainability.
• Prepare regular project reports and contribute to the development of project proposals and other project-related documents
A bachelor's degree in agriculture, • At least -35 years of experience in agricultural development, preferably in a field-based role.• Experience and practical knowledge of producing horticultural crops and their basic problems.• Knowledge of society work and awareness activities.• Working knowledge in the English and Arabic languages• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook). • Experience in report writing and data analysis.• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and other stakeholders in a multicultural setting, with sensitivity and respect for diversity.• Good knowledge of agricultural production systems and practices, particularly in the project's focus areas.• Relevance and extent of experience in working with inter-governmental bodies and multi-disciplinary teams.• Good knowledge of agricultural production systems and practices, particularly in the project's focus areas.
